This Sunday, we had some special guests visiting Milan, old friends who no longer live in Lombardy. For the occasion, we decided to plan a day in the mountains. Since there were beginners in the group, we opted for a tourist-friendly trail that was easy and accessible. Specifically, we followed the path leading from Piani Resinelli to Mount Coltiglione.
Although it is a relatively easy and less sought-after peak, it offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. However, the highlight of the day was likely reaching Rifugio Porta and enjoying the excellent lunch served in that scenic location.
