I’ve been to Monte Palanzone several times, and I have a special connection with it because it was the first peak I conquered through hiking. You could say it was my first love. However, I had never ascended via the direct trail from Caslino D’Erba to the summit of Palanzone. It was an intriguing alternative worth discovering. Descending along a different path allowed us to create a loop, avoiding retracing our steps.
About the trail
The trail is fairly direct with a noticeable incline. While not particularly difficult, it’s essential to pay attention to your steps, especially in some more exposed sections.
