Thanks to the helpful Komoot app, I created a route with the aim of reducing my exposure to heavy traffic on the main connecting roads between Milan and Brescia. The result was a rather serene journey, comprising a substantial stretch of dedicated bike paths and secondary roads.
About the trail
The route doesn’t involve significant elevation gain, but the accomplishment of surpassing the milestone of 100 kilometers and reaching one of the most important provincial capitals in Northern Italy is undeniably satisfying. For the return journey, I opted for the convenience of a Brescia-Milan train ride back to the starting point.
