I had been contemplating this journey for quite some time. Cycling from Milan to Turin felt like the perfect challenge to undertake. The trip was intriguing because it allowed me to pass through beautiful cities and particularly scenic cycling paths.
The presence of gravel roads did slow down my pace and had an impact on both physical and mental energy. I arrived in Turin feeling quite tired, but it wasn’t an issue, as I could conveniently take a train back to Milan.
About the trail
The path I followed mainly consisted of bike paths or low-traffic roads. However, since I had set the “Gravel Bike” mode when preparing the route on the map, I included several sections on gravel roads, which significantly slowed down the average pace. Perhaps a better route can be planned.
