After weeks of incessant rain, the weather forecast finally promised a break from precipitation, although the sky would remain dark and cloudy.
So, we decided to resume our hiking adventures with a simple yet satisfying route, one we had experienced before but which always provided plenty of enjoyment.
After parking our car near Mount Bisbino‘s parking lot, we stopped at Rifugio Bugone for a coffee before beginning our walk, which took us to the summit of Mount Colmegnone in just a couple of hours.
Unfortunately, upon reaching the top, the view was completely obscured. Nevertheless, even under these unique atmospheric conditions, the hike bestowed upon us good vibes.
About the Trail
The trail is gentle (with less than 500 meters of elevation gain) and technically undemanding, consisting of a wide path even accessible to small motorized vehicles. It’s suitable for beginners and offers a pleasant outdoor experience.
