The summit of Gana Rossa rises between the Leventina Valley and the Blenio Valley. The easiest route to reach it starts from the village of Carì, where there are plenty of free parking spaces.
Some say that the mountains in Switzerland are the most beautiful in the world. I haven’t visited enough of them to confirm or deny this claim. However, the summit of Gana Rossa certainly treated us to a breathtaking view that made this hike truly magnificent.
About the trail
The trail starts out simple and well-defined, but as you ascend, it becomes somewhat less clear, and near the top, we slightly lost the path. The summit was conquered, but it’s definitely not the easiest route to reach a peak. Nevertheless, as always, the view from the summit makes you forget all the effort.
